Founder Monique Javier leads Build Unique with a passion for transforming the construction industry from the inside out. A self-taught expert in green building and architectural design, Monique brings a rare blend of creative vision, technical mastery, and deep integrity.
After the 2017 Tubbs Fire, Monique made it her mission to help families rebuild stronger, safer, and smarter. That calling became Build Unique: a design-supply-build firm that merges passive house principles, LEED-certified materials, and non-combustible wall systems into a replicable, resilient framework.
From her roots in Sonoma Valley to projects across California, New Mexico, and Hawaii, Monique leads with empathy, education, and empowerment—offering both homeowners and builders a clear, trustworthy path to success.
